Introduction
Antonmed HIV & Syphilis Test Cassette is a dual rapid diagnostic test designed for the qualitative detection of markers associated with HIV and syphilis in human specimens.
By combining two testing functions in one cassette, the product provides a practical solution for screening programs and point-of-care testing where HIV and syphilis testing are required together.
Based on lateral flow immunochromatographic technology, the cassette is designed to provide visually interpretable results without the need for a dedicated analyzer.
For international distributors, diagnostic companies and healthcare brands, Antonmed also provides OEM and private-label solutions according to product, packaging and target-market requirements.

Key Features
Dual Detection – Combines HIV and syphilis testing in one cassette.
Two Test Areas – Independent result regions allow HIV and syphilis results to be interpreted separately.
Rapid Testing Format – Designed for quick qualitative screening.
Lateral Flow Technology – Uses immunochromatographic assay technology.
Simple Operation – Designed for use with the specimen and testing materials specified in the IFU.
No Dedicated Analyzer Required – Visual result interpretation for applicable test configurations.
Compact Cassette Design – Convenient for individual packaging, storage and distribution.
Point-of-Care Application – Suitable for decentralized testing environments where permitted.
OEM & Private Label Support – Packaging, labeling and branding options can be customized for qualified customers.

What Does the Test Detect?
The cassette contains separate testing components for HIV and syphilis.
HIV Test
The HIV component is designed to detect the specific HIV marker defined in the product's validated assay, such as antibodies to HIV-1 and/or HIV-2, depending on the product configuration.
Syphilis Test
The syphilis component is designed to detect antibodies associated with Treponema pallidum (TP), according to the validated assay configuration.
The two results are interpreted independently. A reactive HIV result and a reactive syphilis result should not be treated as a single combined diagnosis.
WHO notes that dual HIV/syphilis RDTs detect anti-HIV and anti-Treponema pallidum antibodies and that the two results should be interpreted separately within standardized testing strategies.
