How Does the NG Test Strip Work?
The NG Test Strip uses a lateral flow immunoassay principle.
After the prepared specimen is applied to the test strip, the sample migrates through the membrane by capillary action.
If the target associated with Neisseria gonorrhoeae is present at or above the test's specified detection level, it reacts with the test reagents and produces a visible signal in the test region.
The control line acts as an internal procedural control. Its appearance indicates that the sample has migrated through the strip and that the test has operated correctly.
The exact target, specimen type, antibodies or other reagents used in the assay should be described according to the validated Antonmed product specification.
