TOXO Toxoplasma IgG Test Cassette

ATR004-1
Antonmed TOXO IgG Test Cassette is a rapid immunochromatographic test designed for the qualitative detection of IgG antibodies against Toxoplasma gondii (T. gondii) in human specimens. The test is designed to support serological screening for exposure to Toxoplasma gondii. Its cassette format provides a compact testing device with an integrated sample well and result window, allowing visual interpretation without the need for dedicated laboratory equipment.

Introduction
Toxoplasma gondii, commonly referred to as T. gondii, is an intracellular parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis.
Following exposure or infection, the human immune system may produce antibodies against T. gondii. IgG antibodies are commonly used as one of the serological markers when assessing previous exposure to the parasite.
Antonmed TOXO IgG Test Cassette is designed to qualitatively detect anti-Toxoplasma gondii IgG antibodies in the specified human specimen. The test provides a rapid screening result that can be used together with clinical information and, where necessary, other laboratory testing methods.

Test Principle
Antonmed TOXO IgG Test Cassette is based on a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay.
The test membrane contains reagents designed to react with antibodies specific to Toxoplasma gondii. When the specimen is applied to the sample well, it migrates through the test device by capillary action.
If anti-Toxoplasma gondii IgG antibodies are present in the specimen, they interact with the corresponding test reagents and form an immune complex. This complex is captured in the test region, resulting in the appearance of a visible test line.
A separate control line provides an internal procedural control, indicating that the specimen has migrated properly through the device.
The exact reagent configuration and detection mechanism should follow the validated Antonmed product specification and IFU.

How to Use the TOXO IgG Test Cassette
The following workflow provides a general overview. The actual specimen volume, buffer volume, reaction time and reading window should always follow the Antonmed Instructions for Use.
1. Prepare the Test
Bring the test cassette and specimen to the required testing temperature according to the product instructions. Remove the cassette from the sealed pouch immediately before use.
2. Add the Specimen
Place the cassette on a clean and level surface. Using the supplied dropper or pipette, add the specified amount of specimen to the sample well marked S.
3. Add Buffer
Add the specified amount of assay buffer to the sample well according to the product instructions.
4. Wait for the Result
Allow the test to develop for the specified reaction time.
5. Interpret the Result
Read the control and test lines within the specified reading window. Do not interpret results outside the validated reading time.
